Her Silent Triumph shared…
A Silent Triumph, Shared in Her Own Words
We’re honored to share this deeply personal story from someone who’s carried Silent Triumphs®️ with her through many chapters of life. Her words, unedited, speak to the heart of what this movement represents.
Everyone has his or her moment of triumph. That successful conquest that is visible to family and friends and you celebrate in your own unique way. However, what about those silent triumphs? Those moments that, to the outside world, seem minimal, but are actually a moment of resilience that you otherwise did not think you could accomplish.
In 2014, I received my first Silent Triumphs® Warrior necklace. I have worn it daily for 11 years. Why? Because that was MY moment of resilience. I needed something to remind myself that I DID believe in MYSELF during the hardest battle of my life – moving away from home. Moving away from my family, my friends. Moving 500 miles away from what I knew.
My Silent Triumphs® Warrior necklace now shares a unique partner, and that is a Silent Triumphs® White Warrior pin; for Brain health awareness. In 2021, I went through my second hardest battle in life – brain surgery.
Each day, I continued to wear, and talk, about my Silent Triumphs® Warrior, and when I was able to add another Warrior to my life, I talked about her, too. Because while my friends and family saw me get through the tough stuff, like surgeries, I needed my Silent Triumphs® to get me through the small stuff, like believing I would could simply get through the day. When I am stressed or feel alone, I know my Silent Triumph Warriors are there.
I have marked achievements in my life and celebrated successes, but I have a lot more to do. In addition, I know, I will not only celebrate my triumphs, but I will also celebrate my silent triumphs, too.
